Spray paint effect without the paint

Hi,
I have an STL for printing a dachshund. I recently printed some items for my daughter using Bambu Labs wood filament. I have some left and got to thinking I’d like to print the dachshund in it.

Here’s my question. I do not want to use spray paint. Is there any way I can somehow get a brushed black and brown (filament) look on it’s back through some sort of coloring process via the splicer? What I am thinking is to ‘spray’ black filament to get a black/brown back. I have an AMS, so that would not be an issue. Maybe I’m just missing the obvious.

Thanks

Depending on the orientation, you may be able to use one of my custom filament makers to do that. I’d suggest trying the Stratified model.

Interesting. I can have an orientation. I’ll dig int this. Thanks
