Hi,
Does anybody have a smart way to adjust the squareness of the X1C?
I received my second X1C (the first one was returned due to VFA), but the VFAs are even worse on the new one.
I adjusted the belts to prevent rubbing on the sides of the pulleys, at least at the belt tensioners, but it didn’t make a difference.
I love this device. It’s such a cool printer, and I won’t give up. I’ll do my best to minimize the VFAs as much as possible!
Greetings
I am curious.
How are you checking squareness?
How far out of square is it?
Does anybody have a smart way to adjust the squareness of the X1C?
Bambu lab X1C Gantry “squaring” jig
I know of a couple other ones you can search on printables.
Was a rumor Bambu lab was working on a firmware to help with VFA
Have a good one

Hi,
I can’t provide you with the exact value, but I can observe that not both sides of the X gantry flash with the “Endstops” (located at the front of the printer). It would be great if there were a way to ensure that everything is nearly perfectly squared to avoid any f.e. FVA.
