Stainless vs hardened nozzle

Thanks. It’s interesting that the ender heats up then waits to cool/stabalize, speaks to a lot of thought/feedback and trying to figure out issues to me.Your response made me look up PLA composition, always good to keep learning. Keeping on my tangent, seems like if anyone was actually printing kitchen utensils they would need to stick to pure, uncolored PLA since the colorants used are not neccisarily food safe themselves and I have no idea what wood powders are generally used in PLA wood. At least if it’s recycled it is generally only with other PLA although unless it is your own PLA you won’t know what types of nozzles it’s been used through or what else may have been printed through those nozzles. I know this probably sounds a little sci-fi/conspiracy ish but now we have used cooking oil used for vehicles, airplanes and animal feed and some places have a big theft and blackmarket issue around it. yeah, not related to 3d printing. Also not related is that recently some research has shown that some of the black kitchen utensils (spatualas, spoons, noodle servers…) are made from recycled plastics (yes, PLA is not really a plastic in the petroleum sense) and contained chemicals that should never be used near food.
