Can someone explain to me what these stains are?
I had printed this print again because of missing supports, but this time I have a lot more of these spots on the print. I may have unconsciously changed the print settings. What I certainly changed was the variable layer height.
The silk filament shines like silk normally, but in these places it is quite dull.

I don’t print silk but I know the guy’s that do drop the speed for the outer wall and top surface layer to 30 mm/s and the nozzle temp down to 220 but you will have to test your filament out.
Your speed might be hitting 194.5 mm/s look in your preview speed screen.

Did you ever figure this out? I too have these exact same marks after printing two different silk filaments
Not really. I have had the experience that it depends heavily on the model. Models with larger filling cause more problems than, for example, vases or similar shapes.
