Starting print overwrites previous jobs

When i start a print from the Bambu Studio it creates a file on the internal storage of the printer (i don’t use an SD card).

I can then start that print multiple times even without a computer being connected (or Bambu Studio open).

When i create a new print job (different file, different name etc), and send it to the printer, it doesn’t add it to internal storage but always overwrites the previous printed file.
Is this how it supposed to be?
Can i add this instead of overwriting it so i can manually start one of the previously added files?

This would be a great feature to add, I also wished I was able to easily print an older file again.
The behavior of your printer is exactly the same compared to mine and I don’t think there is any way to change it (yet).

Ah okay, so it appears to be normal. Yeah, it is a big improvement from my other printer to not have to use an SD card to send prints to the printer, but i wish i could have projects saved to the printer without using an SD card.

The best would be to be able to create folders and upload projects to it but just separate files would be great as well

If you print by uploading from the could you can go into the mobile handy app look for History and reprint any of your past prints.

@BenG,

Perfect, this is exactly what I was looking for.
It would be a little more convenient to have this history also on the printer display but that’ll do. :slight_smile:

Yeah, this is crazy!

Why would the files not stay resident in internal storage and default to being overwritten by a new file, with a different name?

This is a bug in my eyes.

I believe we should also have access to the internal storage (via BS) to browse, delete, rename, or print any of the files.
