[Still not shipped] CyberBrick Kickstarter T-Shirts Missing in Action

Where is the @CyberBrick T-shirt we were promised as a milestone in the Kickstarter campaign?

Update #4 April 11, 2025

We were told the first 1,000 backers (this includes me) would receive them.

We were told the promised shipping date for the kits would be delayed a whole month!

Update #9 May 15, 2025

The design of the T-shirt was revealed.

Update #11 May 22, 2025

Notice that the mismanaged shipping had begun.

BL decided not to inform any user that those whose pledge included the time-lapse option would not have their order fulfilled, with no information about when they would finally be shipped.

Nothing about the t-shirts was mentioned. As they were being sent out to the first 1,000 backers, the presumption was that they would be with the deliveries.

They were not.

No further updates on the t-shirt

Nothing, just silence.

Bonus

I have found one comment by a staff member related to the much-delayed t-shirts.

The T-shirt will be a redeemable code sent to you once it becomes available in the Bambu Lab Store. The T-shirt was not part of the original production plan, but was a bonus gift based on the funding progress.

The suggestion was the t-shirt is distinct from the campaign is ludicrous.

An utter lie.

Update #3 March 25, 2025

Early Bird Exclusive T-Shirts: A Token of Our Gratitude

To the visionary backers who joined us first: All the backers who got one of the Early Bird rewards are getting an exclusive CyberBrick T-shirt! This isn’t just merch—it’s a badge of honor for those who dared to reimagine what 3D printing could be. This is our way of rewarding your trust (and, admittedly, fast internet & a bit of luck). We’re still working on the design and will reveal it later!

As you can see, the t-shirt was part of the offer before the campaign started.

Update #4 April 11, 2025

T-Shirt Memorial Gift for First 1,000 Backers

Previously, we have announced that backers who got one of the early birds will be gifted a free T-Shirt. However, we’ve heard from many of you who missed the early bird tier due to timing or checkout issues, and we don’t want those people to feel left out. To show our appreciation, we’ve decided to offer the commemorative CyberBrick T-shirt to the first 1,000 backers, not just early bird supporters. You can check your serial pledge number on your “manage pledge” page.

We’ll be revealing the T-shirt design and sharing shipping details soon—stay tuned!

This offer was expanded in a later update to include the first 1,000 backers, as they admitted failures in the launch when they launched early. I ordered before the window officially opened, and I was unable to purchase the early bird. Launching earlier than they told everyone rendered the first t-shirt promise a lie, as were the prices, as so many couldn’t have ordered at the announced plan.

The expanded number of t-shirts was meant to be an apology.

If the staff member is correct, instead of delivering the t-shirts as they should be, we are now required to wait yet again, for an unknown time. Until the store includes it as merchandise.

Yet again, a promise made and a promise failed.

Deliver what you promised, no more delays.

  • Failed to ship when promised.
  • Knew they couldn’t deliver when the campaign launched.
  • Waited to tell us they wouldn’t deliver on time until the campaign had closed.
  • Promised a t-shirt, they haven’t delivered
  • Started the campaign early, meaning those who trusted their word paid more for the kits as they had no chance of obtaining them at the cost advertised.
  • Promised to provide more t-shirts to make up for the failure.
  • Never said we had to wait until they had sufficient stock of t-shirts to fulfil far more quantities unrelated to the campaign.
  • Provided no updates on the t-shirts since the design.
  • No communications have been sent related to the t-shirts.

Communicate!!!

Following as I’d love to know where my shirt is as well. my backer number is in the 400’s so I should be eligible for a code whenever it’s available

That does sound woefully mismanaged and lacking communication. I was not a backer but hope they can clear it up and make amends to those of you they made the commitment to.

It’s Bambu, don’t expect them to deliver on their promises

Because it’s Bambu, I expect that they are knitting their own so it may be a while…

Today I received an email saying the extremely long promised CyberBrick T-shirts may be finally about to ship.

I am still firmly in the “believe it when I see it camp”.

It still somehow continues to surprise me after all this time that @BambuLab refuses to learn by it mistakes and not provide updates.

What would have been difficult about admitting they over promised and under delivered on something they added to make up for in part, another issue they created?

Why they decided to link the eventual fulfilment of a deal they made to making sure they could sell it as merch at the same time is disingenuous and disrespectful.

18 days have past, I still have not seen a t-shirt, further communication, shipping information nothing.

@CyberBrick

I do not see it.

We are still the same through the EU, nothing comes…

I ordered CyberBrick and I didn’t even get the (long promised) lousy T-shirt.

@CyberBrick another 33 days have passed since the email about the t-shirt was received yet we still do not have anyone saying they received the actual shirt.

When will we ever receive it and why do you continue to fail to provide any meaningful communication about why we haven’t?

Maybe the container ship carrying them was coming thru the Red Sea and got sunk, or it is anchored out in the ocean waiting to be let into a port after they pay their 1 zillion percent tariff. I am finding that stuff from China just usually just show up on my door step out of the blue —or— it just doesn’t.

I ordered a lap-desk over 9 months ago from one of those on line, great deal, shopping sites, and they said it on, its on its way, it was delivered, but I couildn’t see anything, and so I wasn’t eligible for a refund. After 82 years my feeling is that life is really to short to waste to much energy over some issues. I also don’t expect anyone, that has f…ked up, to man up and admit it any more. There are to many people today that do not nor will not take responsibility for what they do or say, and that is a sad. sad, state of our civilization.

But don’t get me wrong. I realize that this is an “important” issue for you and I. am not trying to make lite of it.

I just got out of the hospital yesterday from fighting a case of blood poisoning and had a good wake up call as to what is really important in my life and what isn’t.

Take Care
Jim

Locoman, don’t be loco-man!

I just want it to arrive before I die, given I am a few months after the doctors said I wouldn’t be here, it needs to damn well hurry up.

I received my T-shirt today so I would expect others to be showing up very soon. They did a really nice job with selecting the shirt and it came in a nice Bambu branded zippered bag so be careful when opening your package. (IE don’t cut it in the middle)

Got mine (in the UK) today and it’s very nice. Sadly I’ve lost a stone recently and the size I got is a little on the large side now! Still it’s very nice, good quality and I’m very pleased with it.

Just seven weeks after they most recent delayed announcement of the long promised t-shirt has finally arrived.

Once the shipment is dispatched, we will send you the logistics tracking number via email so you can easily monitor the package status.

No such helpful information was shared, yet again, why bother telling people something that they need to know or something you promised to tell them.

Over 6 months since it was promised.

How quickly do they work?

A custom printed t-shirt in a quantity of 1,000 units would take no longer than a week in every country.

So, just 27 times that timeframe is good, right?

Finally got my T-shirt today! Looks Great! But, dang this shirt is THICK, SHORT, and WIDE. I got the Large size, which is what i wear in every other t shirt that i have. Now, the shirt fits, but this shirt is just made different. For those of that still havent got it yet, be prepared, the shirt is thick, almost Jersey like. Still an amazing shirt, just wish it was a bit longer for case and a little less wide. I am 6 foot and 165-170 lbs it that helps anyone understand.

It is surprisingly good quality, as is the bag it arrived in.

You got yourself a crop top, fashionable I’m told.

Have you considered shrinking?

Got it a week after the US & UK shipments

But I do blame that on recent changes in our last mile deliveries rather than anything else.

I am quite impressed by the good quality. :+1:

So a big thanks to you and @SupportAssistant
