Hi everyone!
For the past several months, I’ve been developing FlexySliceSTL — a program that transforms suitable static STL models into flexible, articulated designs.
The program automatically generates the flexible structure and connections. You can then:

choose from patterns such as Hex, Fish, and Soft Square

adjust the generated structure

manually edit selected elements and connections
-
preview the articulated model in 3D
-
export the result for slicing and printing
The goal is to make creating print-in-place models much faster, without having to design every individual joint manually in CAD.
I’ve tested the program with real models and physical prints, including the articulated cat shown in the attached campaign video.
