Stop printing sparse infill in previous layer!

This is something which has bugged me for so long! - I can solve it by not having any ‘top layers’ and by having only one wall on top surfaces to not applied, but then the lack of top surface is making the print look terrible!

I am printing a number plate, so yellow on the bottom and black letters, I don’t want the letters printing in the previous surface which is what it is doing. I want it to print the rectangle, then print the letters on top of it!

Bottom image shows the letters printing in the previous layer (don’t want this) - And the top picture shows what I do want, (but this is only when turning off top layers)

Set “internal bridge support thickness” to 0 in the strength>advanced section

It did do the trick, but it doesn’t print right!
