When printing on my a1 mini (pla, .16 mm layers) i recently discovered strange spots where the flow gets thicker or thinner, creating horrible lines on the top and bottom surface
Waves like that are normally an indication of over extrusion. Have you calibrated your filament?
yes, i always activate dynamic flow calibration. also, it has always printed perfectly, and now this stuff shows up from nothing
Double check to see if your nozzle is loose or bent.
Manual filament calibration is the best indication of if the flow is set correct.
the nozzle is perfectly fine, but how exactly do i manually calibrate the filament?
i did a manual flow calibration but the problem is persisting, i am very confused
Have you tried a factory reset yet? Sometimes that seem to fix the “odd” problems.
It does this even in the first layer? Any chance it level too low? Otherwise I also think it’s overextruding.
have you always used that smooth sheet?

i will try tightening the nozzle as shown in bambu wiki asap, because id does indeed happen in the first layer (as well as other layers). also, i have been using this cool plate supertack for a long time, but this issue is showing up very recently.
For overextrusion, i have already conducted a manual calibration on bambu studio to make sure the extrusion is right
