Strange noise while printing all of a sudden

Hi everyone, my printer started making a loud plastic dragging or slipping noise this morning. It doesnt sound good at all.
Almost like the sound of the spool being pulled inside the ams but its not.
I took a short video but have no idea how to upload it.

i found this in one of the prints as well, looks like a screw head, any ideas guys? I might open a support ticket, cuz i have no idea how a piece of steel would have gotten in there other than something shearing off.

Well Ive got no idea, I tried looking and testing things but no idea. I also raised a ticket around the same time as this post and havent heard any more.

How long does it take to usually get a response from bambu does anyone know?

Hello Steve,

i hear the same grinding noise on my X1C, most when printing circles.

It could just be a low resolution model, thats what i was told and mines been going great since, i was printing some junky thing off printables or the like at the time, when i designed my own it went away.

Oh, ok, i will try.

Thank You for the tip.

Normal sound, Mine does it too, Dec of 22 received.

The Screw head however…we need to look more into that. I will try to look at the under side of my printer when I get home this weekend from work. Hopefully someone else will chime in that has had their print head apart and may be able to ID that part

… or someone in your vicinity is messing with you.

I did have a pretty good look through and since that time the printer has been flawless, up until today with a new problem printing petg all of a sudden?
But i do believe it was a low res. model sound.

I just started having this issue yesterday, been printing for about 600h and this is the first time i heard it . I followed the wiki for the carbon rods maintenance and the others also, still same sound ! Ive raised a ticket but god knows how long my printer will be out of commission. Ive been searching all night for a dam solution or cause

I had the same type of unusual noise start appearing recently. It seems like it happens when the printhead is moving to a new position. The object being printed is not affected at all. The sound reminds me of a seal barking. I think it is some kind of resonance, either in the belt or one of the pulley bearings that it passes over. I have tried tensioning the belts and lubricating all the bearings. Here is a link to a video. Sorry, I don’t know how to embed a video in this message.

Thanks for any and all ideas!

yep, mine sounds the same near the right of the bed. any updates?
