I thought there was a string art generator in makerlab. Am I mistaken? I am trying to turn my wife’s logo into a display with string art holding it to the frame. Tia
How I miss those times when we just used actual string for these things… 
These days we even print fake grass LOL

There is a suspended text generator, like this one:

I’m the designer of the suspended text generator, and now that uploading images/stls is an option, I think I could give it a try to generate string start or suspended logo.
But it will not be any time soon, as I will need to finish some other designs first.
You can, for example, create a disk, and print with no top and bottom layers, and some wall layers, and you then get only infill inside the circular frame. You obviously can have whatever shape you want as the frame, and infill pattern. You can add stls, whatever to that. If it doesn’t work for you, don’t forget you can print as separate parts and glue together.
