Stringing after drying filaments - PETG

Hi everyone, its a bit strange but after drying my filament for the second time (after 2 months being inside the AMS) i started getting a bit of stringing, not a lot but you can actually notice it. I have a benchmark model which i print every time i apply any change to the filament settings that’s why i can spot even the smallest difference on the printed model.

So lets say my filament was a bit damp and my filament settings where optimised using the damp filament, after drying i get some stringing, what do you guys think I should adjust on my filament settings to reduce stringing?

The reason i dried my filament for the 2nd time was because some filament was collecting on the nozzle while printing, i played around with the settings but nothing worked, so i decided to dry the filament.

I think, a bit of PETG collecting on the nozzle is normal and has to be accepted.
The new stringing seems strange. How do you perform drying? Maybe the filament was well dried after the first run and even soaked some water during the second run. E.g. higher ambient humidity could cause this.

I dried the filament inside the x1c chamber using the stock settings.

Did you notice the ambient humidity? Unfortunately, open drying in a printer (and drying in most common filament dryers) is strongly limited by ambient humidity.

To really know if “drying” truly is drying you need to weigh the spool before and after and compare weights.
