bambu a1 studio will not connect to printer
Any resolution? I’m having similar issues all of a sudden. Tried every troubleshooting step on forums and wiki but still can’t connect to my A1 from BS
might be new firmware update, I’m having same issue after i updated yesterday… I’m going to try and revert to older version on bambu handy app.
I rolled back FW on both the A1 and AMS Lite, no luck. Then plugged and unplugged a few times and things seem to be working for now…no idea if it was some software or server side issue that resolved at the same time I was fiddling around. Hopefully yours is working again as well.
Having similar issues as the OP. Everything working fine one day then not the next.
Here is what has been happening.
After going through the binding process for both handy and studio I get the printer in my device list as expected. Problem is, the network icon is greyed out with a little red icon over it. Have tried everything I can think or find but still no resolution.
I have Starlink that runs 5 and 2.4Gb and can seperate them into different networks. This I did. Studio, iPhone and A1 all on same network printer and handy app on phone all good. A1 and Studio I get the printer there but greyed out network. All 3 devices are logged into my Bambu lab username and password as well as a seperate 2.4Gb network on my Starlink router. As far as I can determine the router is not blocking any ports the router needs.
Is this familiar to anyone on this forum?
Is there a solution, not a workaround LAN only based one
Not sure if this is related or not, but I have Starlink and one time it got an IP address that was geolocated in another country. This causes some apps (cloud services) to not work (i.e. that country was blocked). After rebooting the Starlink a few times, it finally got another IP that was US located. I contacted Starlink about it, but they more or less shrugged their shoulders since it was resolved.
Interesting…. I’ve even gone as far as deleting all Bambu library files under my username, deleted the app, downloaded a fresh one and installed.
Nope still came up not connecting…. then something called Bambu connect (beta) appeared. Downloaded this, logged in and clicked find printers in this network…POW there it was.
Haven’t sent a file to it yet but so far it looks promising.
