Just saw the latest changelog, and got exited seeing some new functionality I have been waiting for.
But is the option to remote control the drying functionality via studio only available to some printers?
I havent seen any info on it, and updated to the latest software version and firmware of my P1S, and do not get that new UI, only the old one that simply shows humidity, temperature, and status.
Don’t take this the wrong way, but read the release notes.
It’s stated that for the HD there is a future firmware update required. It doesn’t say when it will be implemented on the other lines, but has a listing of the required firmware.
It is not available at this time.
I mean, yes I saw that, but also in the same release notes further down they have another scenario where a feature is available for the A/P model printers, and that other ones will be added in the future.
Therefore I assumed that them stating a minimum firmware version earlier didnt mean “for this printer only and not yet but in the future”, but makes it seem more like models other than the H series printers might already have the required framework built into their firmware to do so.
Just doesnt seem very consistent messaging, and a little confusing to me.
But if I understood that wrong, then thanks for clarifying ill await this feature eagerly.

I can see it being confusing.
The first mention of it seem to be discussing the H2D, at least they’re using the H2D as an example.
Further down it gives the firmware required for each machine. Would have been better if it had given a time frame. I am interested too. Have at least one of each series (no x) and would love when it comes. Currently have the Sunlu AMS Heater on one P1 and it works ok. Prefer using my AMS 2’s though.
I guess we just need to be patient.

thought I was missing something glaring by not being able to find it on the “Devices” page as the changelog notes; good to know it’s still dependent on a (yet-to-be-released) firmware.
