I am running 1.7.52, the latest version online, and its the ONLY version I have ever installed. (Only got the printer 2 weeks ago)
Today when I opened the studio I got a little box telling me there was a new version avail, and I clicked the MORE INFO link to see what it was. a window opened that told me about some new additions to the filaments, including overture matte. (Which I actually use, so I remembered that) Then I hit ok…and…nothing. No update, no downloading, nothing happened, window went away and studio pretended it never happened. Tried to close and re-open the studio, but never got anything again.
I checked online here, and the only listed version is the same one I already have (.52)
Did something weird happen? Is this a real update or not?
I had the same upgrade notification. So I accepted the upgrade and ran it. But now, when I open Bambu Studio, I don’t see any new filament settings. On the popup displayed, I particularly remember seeing new profiles for PA6-CF and PLA Hight Speed. Nothing appears in the filament list about that.
I took a look in the C:\Program Files\Bambu Studio\resources\profiles\BBL\filament folder where the system filament profiles are stored, and no new files corresponding to the upgrade are present.
So where are they ???
Is there a solution to run again the upgrade ?
I updated the new version of Bambu Studio Wednesday night version.1.9.7.52 and Bambu Studio acts like it is going open and nothing is happening, just sits there. I have try reloading it several times and nothing. In the meantime, I am using Orca Slicer. I just got the printer P1S and all was fine until I updated. I cannot figure what I am doing wrong.
Since Wednesday I have uninstall and reinstalled half a dozen times, rebooted the computer about that many times. I bought the printer 9/11 and it was all working great until I updated to Bambu Studio to the new version 1 9 7 52. sept 18. For now, I am using Orca Slicer. Thanks for responding as I like to say I am not a Dr. so there for I have no patience. I am new to this but love it.
I’m a huge fan of Orca also. If you do decide you want to try Studio again you could install one of the previous versions and wait to see if the next update fixes whatever doesn’t agree with your computer.
