I clean my knives fastidiously, DNA tells stories I like to avoid.
Ball-jointed wolf action figure. I enjoyed working on this model a lot.
Printed most of the model on my X1C, but the feet were done on the A1 with a brand-new AMS Lite. Textured PEI plate made a mess of the pawpads on the left handpaw and right foot, but other than that it was fine.

Everything started from the need to organize the kitchen sink, if you believe that!
I already had a dish dryer, but needed to add a holder to it.
I wanted a light but strong product that would allow the water to flow freely.
In the end, I added a second version that can be used as an office organizer.
Hi Gus,
Wife asked a couple of times about a printed knitting machine as this.
Can you point me to the model?
Are you in the EU? If so, where did you bought the needless?
Thank you.
We purchased a very stylish 2-tier fruit basket. Unfortunately, the holes are too large for small fruits, so I designed a perforated basket to solve the problem.
Now, I have another problem - the perforated basket is too cute, so I want to share it with you. It was also a using a very interesting modeling technique that would allow me to create any shapes I want based on this 2mm wire mesh.
Do you have a special shape you would like to be included?
That print was for a vintage Autoknitter, made around the year 1920. I have been fixing these machines and the cylinder was made of “port metal, mostly zinc”. They are a very good machine and searching on Autoknitter will show what they are and often machines or parts can be found on places like ebay. In the US. Needles for these machines are available new, sellers will ship the needles matching your machine.
Oh. I thought you were printing a full machine.
Added a Wolverine to my collection of printed things . It is straight off the printer (X1C) and then just some dry brushing to weather it.

Wondering about that. The style looks like Leonardo da vinci, but did he ever do such a thing, or is it an AI (or human) re-imagining of what Leonardo might have done? I asked ChatGPT, and it said:
Leonardo da Vinci was contemporaneous with Michelangelo and is renowned for his diverse contributions to art, science, engineering, and anatomy, but he did not create a version of David. Leonardo’s most famous works include The Last Supper, Mona Lisa, and numerous drawings and scientific studies, but not a sculpture of David.
Or, perhaps it was done but with a different name?
With the advent of AI, it’s interesting to think that dead people might in some sense still be creative, and maybe even outperform what they did when they were alive!
That’s wild. Nice work. If you had a photo of it on a clean background, I could replace my avatar with it.
I downloaded an STL of a scan, I presume, of the statue. I remove the top and bottom leaving only the groin and buttocks. I then used Chitubox software to hollow out the solid form and sliced the top off in Bambu Slicer to make it a pot.

OK, thanks. That answers the question. It was the da vinci reference that threw me.
It was maybe an old scan. I’m pretty sure the newer 3D scans would render it more accurately, but perhaps those are behind a paywall. Anyhow, thanks for bringing a bit of history to life. Michelangelo would have been impressed!
Suction cups are cheap and can be bought by the dozen. I have quite a few but none had the ideal hook for my shower.
I can post a nice rendering image, if you want.
Always interesting seeing the insides of peoples’ printers. I like the grill and see the bento box, but what is that Phillips unit with the white knobby thing on lower right under the calibration sticker?
And I bet you have an amazing pile of purge chunks from that print!
Fan grill model MakerWorld
The Philips is a motion sensor, in use it to trigger the power on the Bento box. Printer motion (prints), = Bento filters.
Yes, epic poop
That’s clever! And a lot of poop! You’re definitely ready for the next purge poop contest.
There’s a second bag too
