Speaking of things wifes like… I’ve made a thing for my wife and wife said “publish it, it will be a hit!” Well… My wife sure likes it, but it doesn’t seem so popular:
And I had to learn blender to do that, because FreeCAD went “LOL NOPE” on that vertex count.
Anyway - it sure fits the growing collection of sculptures turned into planters
For a second I thought someone had used AI to recreate my Spinners, you panicked me people, especially you @Square3D.
Then I read the caption, phew!
I’m glad your girls enjoy them.
Yes, they look great. I’m not sure if you chose matte colours, if you did the spinner variants spin faster when matte isn’t used the gyro parts work just as well.
There is a YouTube channel that keeps showing my models amend each time I think, hang one that’s mine why is it there, has someone stolen it. Then I remember I added the channel to my subscriptions for a reason.
Yep, it is matte but they do spin free as they can because i also tried a normal pla and it’s the same.
No worries, i don’t steal models, just thought of giving credits where they are due, and since i used your model in the picture, i credited you for it, as everyone should do.
Plate one of the shuttle is done, maybe about 1/6 of it all told.
Took a break because I had an idea for easy models.
There are NOT enough coasters on Makerworld. No where near it. So I added some more. Vader, Mando, Rebels…so yeah. Criticize if you’d like but this ■■■■ seems to sell.
I’ll be publishing this model on MW later this week, but I just wrapped up a new design for a magnet hockey tabletop game. I used the new PETG-HF and overall, the outcome is awesome. I’m going to start using this on more of the game models going forward. It feels closer to an injection molded game and is quite strong.
The only issue I noticed was parts with color changing is that some oozing can result in parts with random strings coming out of the side. The small point tracking pieces with color changing would have been better suited for PLA for a cleaner look.

bambu lab beige, gold pla
sunlu black pla
it did require a little touching up with the paint tool, but im happy with how it turned out ,even though it has mislaid a sock in the support
Excited to finally have the new board game published for the contest. This design allowed me to try a few new techniques, like using a chamfer grid under the game board to reduce the chance of warping for folks that print it given that it’s a large play area. We also experimented using pocket holes for the legs to give the pipes a clean look without the need for supports. This took a little bit of trial, as if you just extrude the screw hole directly through its mate, the end result ends up slightly off, so we experimented with some offsets to find the best use. Pocket joints are at 45 degrees so do not require support material. Cheers!

designed with makers-supply led lampkit 001 in mind , the compromise is a led strip i got from another product and just for show,
think i will try downloading the stl next time and import as three objects rather than just the two (if possible) so i dont need to print the owl in the air
