Thanks for the suggestion. I have the Pink that is coming with the lithophane kit. Would that work?
A white box with the black drawing of Cupid might look better?
Technically, that is magenta, but I use it as a pink sometimes as it has a nice printed colour.
The contrast should be fine.
Needed a nice toothbrush & toothpaste holder that should be easy to clean. Solution?
Add a seamless removable bottom!
the waterpumpholder above the right fan.
easy to recognize because of the PEI surface

Print-in-Place Folding Chess & Backgammon Board - Free 3D Print Model - MakerWorld
I originally set out to print a folding chess board I could take anywhere. After searching through MakerWorld, I realized something was missing.
I could not find a design that combined all five things I was looking for:
-
a hinged board
-
print-in-place
-
the ability to play both chess and backgammon
-
maximum size on a 10" × 10" (256mm x 256mm) build plate
-
roomy enough when closed to store both chess and backgammon sets when closed
-
a design that would close securely into a solid case
On top of that, I wanted something practical. Not just a board, but a compact case that keeps everything together.
So I decided to design my own…

This model was printed in one piece (I used PLA), including fully functional hinges, and is sized to use every possible millimeter of a 256 mm (10") build plate. It opens into a clean backgammon layout and closes into a sturdy, roomy case that can hold your game pieces inside.
After printing a few for myself, I shared them with friends… and that was it. Everyone wanted one. So instead of keeping it to myself, I decided to share it with the world.
Got to the point that I had to clear out a new shelf today for all my boxes.
My rough count is up to about 160 now (not counting the 40 or so that I have given away).
Counting it up from my pile of RFID tags, that’s about 60 kg of filament for all of them. And yes, my credit card hates me.
Raise ■■■■, do it for dale. Boogity boogity boogity, Amen.
Here is my latest “successful print”. He is not perfect, but I enjoyed the challenge. I am still working on the electronics. So a WIP. Lights work, Dome rotates, “just” the motors in the feet to go.
Printed on X1C and H2S

This is amazing and is a project I want to do one day also!
It was a long project but loved it. (In the end
). the electronics almost broke me but now I have my own moving, talking R2. Very happy.
IKEA cam lock nuts are great for strong, simple assembly, but not so great when they’re left exposed.
This project started when we finished our IKEA kitchen. We loved everything about it, except the exposed cam on the bottom of the cabinets. You’d only notice it if you were very short or crouching, but once you see it, it’s impossible to ignore.
With a white kitchen, printing these in Bambu White Matte PLA gave a perfect color match. Now the cams are invisible, and the cabinets look like they came that way from the factory.

Nothing special, just my first TPU print.
Print profile: [Example] Table Tennis (40mm)
Material: EasyThreed Shenzhen TPU (no info about Shore level)
BambuLab P1S, printed from external spool.
My very first print in TPU, had to be a ball of course.
More chess, backgammon and checkers stuff.
How many Romanians can place all Romanian counties (judetele Romaniei) on the map?
I took this challenge literally and with the aid of #SOLIDWORKS I designed and #3dprinted the perfect travel puzzle of #Romania’s administrative map.
I cheated a bit, by following the Four Color Theorem, so there are no two adjacent regions with the same color.
Guess what? After I solved the puzzle 5 times without cheating by looking at the map of #Romania, I am confident I know now where each region is located.
Time to gift this puzzle to #Romanian children or their #geography teachers and see what they think. ![]()
