I tried today starting a print, but saw that it wouldn’t connect, and it was giving me error code -6020, so first I tried to update bambu studio. That didn’t fix it, I tried turning my firewall off, didn’t work. Resetting my router, didn’t work. But connecting my pc and printer with my phone hotspot, it would connect. It has worked perfectly fine the last month with my normal internet connection
I actually am having exact same problem. Was printing fine today and after couple of prints I wanted to print different model and I have “Failed to connect to the server” with the same code as you.
Tried rebinding printer, turning off-on, plugging off-on, factory reset, reseting the router and still nothing…
I am also getting this error and it has taken out my work printer for several days now. Like the earlier reporters, I’ve tried rebooting, factory resets and rebinding all to no avail. My Panda Touch has also stopped working at the same time
In case anyone else has this problem, it looks like the Bambu servers must have blacklisted my IP address. This is the IP address your router gets assigned on startup (which I checked using whatsmyip website). I noted down the reported IP. Turned the router off for 10 minutes and then back on again. I checked the IP to confirm it had changed and then I was suddenly able to connect to both of my printers again. A biziarre problem which I believe to be caused by the way BambuLabs have approached their authentication implementation this year.
I have a Panda Touch connected to my P1S which also was failing to connect until I did this change. I also have my own LED light ring/riser that choses the colour to display based on the printing status - this is determined via an ESP8266 using MQTT, so I bet things like this contributed to being thrown off the cloud system.
Anyone at BambuLabs care to comment on this theory??
i am having the same problems. i have updated firmware and software on all my devices, i have tried turning off my firewall too but no luck. ihave no knowledge of IP Stuff but i did try to reset my router still no luck. my phone, my laptop nor my son’s desktop can’t connect to the printer
I am having this issue as well. I have a H2D pro connected through Ethernet and cannot connect. I am receiving the 6020 error code as well as a firewall access notification. I have already updated my firewall to allow the program through and still nothing.
