Suggestion for Upload Limit Increase

It would be greatly appreciated if the current 500MB upload limit for raw model files could be increased. When uploading a series of models—such as variants, different sizes, or configurations—this limit is often reached quite quickly.

To clarify, this request refers specifically to the upload limit for raw 3D model files, not print profiles.

As a potential safeguard against misuse, this feature could be made available to established or verified users. This would help support more advanced workflows while minimizing the risk of abuse.

I have some large files because of bad optimization ;o. but when i zip they are 10x smaller…is it possible to upload zipped, never looked.

Edit: looked and zip is on list. so could zip before upload as last resort . though myself, i hate zips! because i then have unzip lol

I have hit this limit before in a model with many variations, and thus had to limit which I could publish. So I second this request.

Does the model files exceed 500MB even if they are zipped?

zip works fine but obviously it is not browsable and it makes updating and downloading more complicated.

What’s the typical total size of your model files?

typically not more than 30 - 100MB, but some of them exceed 700 or even 800 MB (due to the amount of variations / size options. I would feel very comfortable with a 2GB cap.
