Suggestion: MakerWorld Model Comment Filters

MakerWorld is geared around maximizing comments on models. This is great until, for example, one is looking for meaningful discussion that is lost in the “works for me too!” comments and pictures. Scroll down, get a bunch more to search through.

There is no perfect answer to this as some good and bad prints may belong in the general discussion. So, I suspect you have to ask the poster what to do, and maybe allow the poster and model owner to change those answers later.

I somewhat think that all of the ratings & boosts should be on one tab of comments. Another tab should be discussion. One tab should be unsuccessful prints, or other issues needed help from the author to get a good print.

That would look like… General comments from the model page,
ratings, and boosts should have check boxes for include in general discussion, is a print, and when is a print is true, include in good or bad prints. Each of these pages would have different default values.

General comments would check include in general discussion, but default to unchecked is print. Ratings and Boosts would default to unchecked include general discussion, but checked to is print and good print.

The model page might default to the tab of good prints, so one can scroll through all the various pictures and praise the model has received.
