Hi,
it would be great, if the basic colours would have a mouse-over name. With a coulour vision deficiency it is quite hard do find the matching colours
technically the colors are just for reference and got no real value
so if you want to make it easy , select 4 differend colors and use them as slot colors to
that way you can see on the color what slot you want to use
ofcourse the final color depends on your filament , the system does not know or care what color filament you put in ( exept with bambu filament , it auto assign the correct color )
this makes it kinda pointless to have a hover over the colors as they got no ārealā value
on other side , if they put a color name on the slicer then the same color names could be used on the AMS system, else the same problem keeps existing
Of course, in the end the filament defines the colour. My thought was only about āpaintingā colours with the colour painting tool in Bambu Studio.
It is way easier, if the model matches the planned result. Guessing the colours is not that much fun and if working with other people (like it happended to me lately), itās always annoying explaining that the colour in the preview is just something that has nothing to do with the print.
An example:
Colouring the model im the Studio
āMake this part greenā
Got the wrong colour selected in the preview.
āNot orange, green!ā
Starting explaining that the filament will be corretly, as itās written in it and so onā¦
- shortly afterwards, the same thing happended again with another colour and all started againā¦
This would have been much easier, if I would have been able to select the right colour in the preview.
I donāt expect ānormalā people to understand the struggle and the impairments with not beeing able to see colours like everyone else. MS Word for example has this mouse oder function and it is really helpful.
Thatās why I was asking about the possibility for this feature
