I got this SUNLU PLA Filament 1.75mm https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZNHF46J?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1Amazon and it is printing spaghetti on my P1P. I’ve cleaned the bed with hot soapy water etc. and nothing works on my P1P. It does not want to stick! Only thing is I need to wipe it down with IPA. The Bambu stock PLA prints with no issues! I changed the filament profile to generic PLA on Bambu studio as well!
As always :
- slowdown first layer infill speed (start with 30/40 mm/s)
- increase a bit bed temperature 45°c
EDIT : preferably wipe with soap not IPA
Please let me know how do I * increase a bit bed temperature 45°c in Bambu studio? Or that during printing? I see the first layer infill speed in advanced setting in Studio. Thanks.
It’s part of the filament profile.
Same as “cool plate” print temp.?
I also see this in the advanced Filament start G-code setting for Generic PLA
; filament start gcode
{if (bed_temperature[current_extruder] >45)||(bed_temperature_initial_layer[current_extruder] >45)}M106 P3 S255
{elsif(bed_temperature[current_extruder] >35)||(bed_temperature_initial_layer[current_extruder] >35)}M106 P3 S180
{endif};Prevent PLA from jamming
I flipped the PEI Plate and my first print came out fine! Lol
That sets the chamber fan speed.
I use SUNLU filament as well… PLA, PLA+, and Silk
I use PLA and PLA+ with the settings stock from PLA Generic
For Silk I use Generic Silk but with First and other Layers temp at 230.
I have not yet has a problem with the cool plat from bambu or the hot plate from WhamBam.
I did have problems if the plate has been used for awhile without cleaning it. Check also if using Cool Plate if you have bubbles in the sticker.
if you print mostly PLA/PETG i can highly recommend the “high temp plate”,
never had an issue with adheason,
no glue required, no plate swapping,
just clean in with IPA and its fine
worked to far with PLA/PETG from Sunlu/Jayo/Extrudr/Prusa
