SuperTack got damaged with one week of use

Am using the supertack for the last week and last night i just saw this small nick on the finish of purge line. I checked the plate that came with the printer and there is a small dot on the same spot. Everything works fine and there is no scratch to any other place. Not sure if this will become a bigger hole and thats why i moved the plate to my p1s. The bed underneath is clean also. Do you think i should check something on the nozzle or bed? I really want to use supertack on A1 but am afraid that this will go bigger and ruin the plate after some time.

Is there any chance you placed the plate into the printer backwards? The mark is about where the nozzle rubs the plate at the back.

Though the coatings are obviously very different, I have a smooth PEI plate that has the same damage. Something about the way it leaves that last single dot at the end of the extrusion line makes it stick far too well to the plate.

On my smooth plate the damage is getting worse, but VERY SLOWLY. I use that plate for almost every print I do and I’m pretty sure the entire plate is going to wear out before that spot of damage is going to because any real worry for me.

That said, the coating on my Super Tack plate at the rear where the nozzle cleans is literally bubbling up and peeling off the plate rather than being worn away like on my other plates. If the same happens to yours at the front, that might be enough to cause it to become a problem.

EDIT: I got my Super Tack out and gave it a good look over and I do have a spot in the exact same spot as yours, just not quite as bad. Also, it’s not an issue of the plate being used backwards, as you can see in the image where I turned the plate backwards and put it on top of another one that the spot is too far off from the normal nozzle cleaning area.

nah the part that it rubs is a long line

no man am not talking about the top part. Am talking about the end of the purge line.

Bambu should check whats going on with that dot at the end. Its really odd to ruin a fresh new plate. Someone who could understand the Gcode might help us to understand whats that. Thanks for your feedback. At least am not alone on this. I was worrying about a problem to the bed or nozzle.
