I was looking for a new supertack plate for my A1 mini (because my last one isn’t really usable any more…), and I noticed that the A1 mini option for the original supertack plate is gone on the UK store and that it doesn’t have a pro variant either. Did I miss something because I don’t remember reading anything about this and I find it annoying that I can’t buy a new plate. Here is a screenshot of the UK store:
they may be a chance they are being faced out, the smooth plate for everything but the A1 mini and A/P/X series are gone here aswell
since they now have the cool plate supertack pro they dont need this one anymore
why you dont have a pro option to buy i cannot answer sadly
I guess the A2L might technically make the A1 mini obsolete, but it doesn’t seem sensible for Bambu lab to just force people to buy the much more expensive option purely because it was released later than the cheaper options… I’m going to buy an X2D soon so it shouldn’t affect me for long, but it is still really annoying.
Biqu’s cool plates are very good too if you need one in the meantime.
I recommend the glacier, not a true “cold” plate, PLA still likes 40-50C, but it holds very well, leaves a lovely satin finish, and cleans easy.
