With the recent removal of New Zealand from being sold to direct by Bambu, we are now expected to pay massively inflated prices for any Bambu Filament (~$13 USD is now ~$27 USD per spool for refills!) due to the local distributors doing what they do locally (i.e. ripping us off).
With this change this renders one of the use cases of the AMS - the RFID tagging - a fairly expensive thing to make use of for the sake of convenience and filament usage tracking.
This is a process in the works over at RFID-Tag-Guide/OpenSourceRfid.md at main · Bambu-Research-Group/RFID-Tag-Guide · GitHub to provide a way for vendors of printer/filament to have tagging that works across the board.
It would be appreciated if Bambu could consider support for reading tags that are coded as per the Github document and putting some support behind it.
