Support in wrong place

I draw a box with tubes through this box, so I can put some wires through them.
But when I use support, the tubes are filled with support insite, which is hard to remove,
sometimes even not.
How can I avoid this ?
without support the tubes are oval.

You can either chase the “oval” shaped holes with a drill or you can design the holes differently so the “ovalness” isn’t an problem.

Here is a good video with some tips for hole design.

Very good tip, that solves my problem, thank you…

If you don’t want to drill:

  1. Another way is to print it lying on it’s side rather than standing like that.
  2. If the holes are small you can do without enabling supports as the printer can bridge the gap since the overhang seems minimal.

When my object is finished it will have more holes then this example,
so placing the object on an other side will not help.
The link JonRaymond referenced was a serie of tips (the next video’s)
how I can use bridges for my problem, this I will do in my next try.
Thanks for responding NatX.
