I am new to 3D printing and have had success designing in Inventor and slicing using Bambu Studio. I am struggling when it comes to supports. I have tried downloading multiple STLs that require supports and the supports are always stronger than the object I actually want to print. I’ve watched several videos on adjusting settings and nothing appears to make a difference. Last night I started a new print using PLA support filament for the interface layers, and I still break every print while removing supports.
I have mainly tried tree supports as the guides I’ve watched claim that they are easier to remove. I have adjusted every setting I can find and I am at a loss. Every print I try to make that uses supports looks like a ball of plastic. Do you have any good guides on this topic? Is there a different slicer that has better supports?
Would you be able to provide a picture of the model before and after slicing? Might give some idea of why you may be struggling. I do know that small detailed prints, like figurines, can be difficult to work with since the supports can be hard to remove from delicate parts.
If there are a lot of supports, you will need to slow down and take your time removing sections of supports at a time. A good pair of flush cutters, exacto knife, and needle nose pliers are all things I use to carefully remove supports. I typically snip the tree supports near where I will be working and remove each branch carefully for the more delicate parts.
The Bambu Labs Wiki has many good guides, including using supports you may want to check out. Support | Bambu Lab Wiki

Are you sure you use the support filament for the support, and not for the model?
A little more context would be good.
What filament material(s) are you using?
A screenshot of your sliced model in the slicer would be nice
Also a photo of your failed prints could provide some insights
