Hi everyone, has anyone had this problem with the supports not being stable? The layers of my supports aren’t sticking together properly. Strangely, everything seems fine with the object.
When my nozzle temperature is 20C to high, I see this sometimes in prints. What material are you printing?
I can’t zoom the picture to get a close up look at the print. But as a general rule, if supports are falling apart it’s because of under-extrusion.
It looks like the overhang above the support came apart, too.
I printed Bambu PLA at 210°C.
Yes, the overhang also collapsed due to missing supports. The Part isn´t showing any signs of under-extrusion, at least no gaps.
Yeah, I agree the other areas look “right”. But supports only have 1 extrusion width walls. So they’re more sensitive to under-extruding than the actual print, where adjacent extrusions have a chance to “fill in the gaps”. Try bump flow up by a few percent and see if things improve…
What changes were made to the print profile? For example, I imagine there is an orange refresh arrow on the support tab in the slicer. Can you find any additional orange arrows (they show the changes to the profile).
Yeah im already on it.
Under extrusions can happen quietly. Not just gaps, but it also appears in the form of lack of adhesion. Which is what you’re seeing here. Is there a reason that you’re printing at 210c instead of the default 220c?
