Hey all. Pretty new printer here. I’ve been messing about with printing PETG support layers for PLA models on my X2D, but whenever I do I get these really awful horizontal artifacts on layers where the supports print. I’m pretty positive this is just from the model cooling down while the filament changes/purges and the nozzles switch, but I’m not really sure what I can do about it. Is there a setting I can look at changing to try to even this out, or is this just the trade off when printing with this kind of supports?
Info:
Printer - Bambu XD
Right nozzle - Bambu PLA Tough+ coming from AMS (calibrated)
Left nozzle - Bambu PETG Basic (default settings)
Print profile - 0.12mm High Quality Preset and default PETG support interface settings
Build plate - Cool Plate Super Tack
Thanks so much for any help!
