I was doing routine Win11 maintenance when I encountered this issue:
All my network data seems to be attributed to Bambu Studio and it’s network plugin. This absolutely doesn’t sit right with me, for obvious reasons.
-Edited in for clarification: Just my Telegram and Steam apps should have accounted for at least 100+ GB the past month, I am sure of that.
Perhaps Bambu Labs can offer some answers here?
Keep in mind that those usage totals combine all data passing through your PC’s network adapter, both within your LAN and from the internet. The vast majority of the data use is likely video, from monitoring your prints. If your internet plan is metered, you should probably switch to LAN-only mode.
I use LAN-only mode more than 95% of the time and OrcaSlicer is still my biggest data user by far, exceeded only by my backup program, which makes daily image backups to another drive on my LAN.
I don’t know what your obvious reasons are but using µtorrent might bring more risks
