Swapping to a new spool during print to correct a spool jam

Hello community, new Bambu user here and loving it so far. I have run into my first issue that I cannot figure out how to correct or work around and I am not even sure there is a way to do what I am wanting to do. I loaded a print for the machine to do before leaving for work and have been monitoring it from the Bambu app. Apparently something has jammed on the roll of filament I was using and it has paused the print about halfway through for me to inspect it to see what happened. Unfortunately I am at work so I cannot. I do have an identical spool loaded in another slot of the AMS to cover if the first spool ran out of material but I was not sure if I would be able to tell the X1C to switch to the other loaded spool instead of trying to continue loading the spool that is jammed. At least I did not see an option for me to do so and all of my searching on Google and otherwise is only giving me results for the auto refill feature which I already know about and use frequently. Can any of you more experienced users tell me if there is a way to do what I am hoping to do or am I stuck until I get home later to see what has happened?

Thanks everyone.

The print usually survives just fine even if paused for many hours. I think it keeps bed temps and fans as they were and the nozzle at 70°C or so.

Did you try hitting “unload”? If that works, you can select the other one, “load”, and then resume. If that doesn’t work I’m not aware of anything you can do remotely. But when you get home you can obviously just cut the filament above the funnel and hit retry. It will switch to the other spool and you can untangle the first one.

Thanks. I did see that option in the app but the load / unload buttons are greyed out and not selectable. More than likely I am thinking it is not possible from the app which is unfortunate. Was hoping to have it done for when got home but at least I’ll be able to fix it once I am there.
