Switching from ABS-GF to PLA

Is there a recommended procedure for switching from ABS-GF to PLA?

Every time I do it, the filament fails to be extracted from the extruder. If I heat it to 270°C and pull it out it will come out, but that’s not very convenient.

Both filaments are Bambu standard filaments.

If you are saying the filament expanded in the extruder region then I suspect heat creep here…
If you mean you printed in ABS-GF and when switching to PLA nothing moves back I would have to ask if it really gets stuck in the extruder or if gets stuck right below…
The later might indicate that thanks to heat creep the cutter deformed the filament.
If the filament is not retracted right away this can mean this ‘blob’ won’t be able to be pulled into shape when passing through the lower hole of the extruder.

I experienced similar issues with glow PLA, especially when trying to print in low layer heights or with low flow rates.
As a workaround I just kept extruding a bit of filament while the hotend cooled down.
E.g. a bit of custom g-code for the end to lower the nozzle temp and extruding about 10mm of filament.
A bit tricky though for automated changes within a model.
