Switching from AMS to external spool

I have a spool which currently has Bambu PETG on it. It’s almost empty and I’m running it out on small prints, I need to reclaim that spool for something else I want to print. I also have a couple of non-Bambu rolls of PETG.

What I’d like to do is should this roll finish in the middle of a print I want to switch over and finish the print with an external spool. Is that possible?

Not as far as I know. You would need both spools in the ams, or put the one that is almost put in the ams and when it runs out it will let you know then put the other one in.
