I think that whenever you turn off the chamber lights on an X1C/P1S, the light of the AMS units attached to it should also turn off. This is because they can be quite disturbing at night if you keep the printer in your room.

I would think the noise would be worse.

I mean yeah it is, but I don’t see a way to fix that besides using silent mode.

You will have to put tape over the lights or print some kind of cover/blocker. I’d just put a small portion of electrical tape. That way it’ll come off easily if you’d want to.
