On new printers (eg. P2S) the printer can detect the build plate using QR-Code (and on some even the nozzle?). And it even detects if I slice for a different build plate and reports an error.
But in Preview pane we have a “Sync Info” button, just next to the build plate. And while it syncs the printer type and all filaments, it does not detect the build plate (and nozzle for capable printers like the H2C)
I would change that behavior, and also sync the build plate type - I had many prints, where I only get an error on the wrong build plate a few minutes into the “print” and had to stop and restart again.
