The latest update changed how synchronizing filament list works. Trying to figure out why I now have to manually modify some of the colors after synchronizing. Seems that 3 PLA and 4 PLA are always swapped with A4 and A3. Both the software and the AMS are updated to the latest version.

If I understand correctly, the filaments in Bambu studio are showing out of order from what you have them in the AMS? While I understand this might be a little annoying the order in Bambu Studio doesn’t matter. Think if it as a library of what you have available for filament, not what is actually in the AMS. You can have dozens of filament types in Bambu Studio. Pick what you need and the slicer will match what you have in your AMS when you send the filament.
Now I am realizing why the AMS is so F’d up ,software but I cant seem to fix the assignment or no matter how many times I hit the synchronize now button and it still gets it wrong. I just don’t understand how a company that puts out a printer like the X1C (Excellent) can be the same company that writes the crappiest control software. In order to print now I have resorted to moving the filament to where the AMS thinks it is and getting the job done. Are we the QA Dept. for Bambu Labs?

If you read my above post you will realize this isn’t what you need to do. The location in Studio doesn’t matter.
