Back in 2025 when I ordered my H2D, I got hit with the Donald Trump tariff.
I finally emailed BL to see if i would get that refunded and they want a tax exempt certificate.
I could probably get one but I kinda feel like they don’t know what I’m talking about.
Did you order your printer directly from Bambu, or from an authorized dealer? Do you know where it shipped from?
Directly from BL. I ordered in the second wave that was available and the price had gone up by $400 and then went down by $400 later.
The tax exempt means something or someone misunderstood what you are talking about like you suspected. That is where you paid tax and were identified exempt entity and shouldn’t have paid it. Sales tax/proper non profit type thing. Its a common thing and probably AI or half reading what you asked for triggered a response for those situations.
