Temp Change For Initial Layer?

To increase chances the first layer will stick, does increasing the temp by 5-10 degrees helpful for PLA? Layer thickness?

PLA in general sticks rather well to the plate.
I only use a different first layer temp for smooth plates or if I have to print something on the lowest possible temp range.
