Temp Tower - Tower Temp / Temperature Tower Test -PLA-ABS-PETG by Eleazar 3DinPlastic - MakerWorld

I printed the temperature tower above to see what I could do to smooth out the top layers of my Sunlu PLA Plus prints. They all look much more textured than the Bambu PLA basic, so I figured in weas printing too hot. After trying many different temperature and variable layer settings, I figured I’d try a temp tower.

The results are less than satisfying. Even under 5X magnification, I cannot see any significant difference. Oddly, there are some layers in between temps that look better all throughout the tower, making it exceedingly difficult to pick a winner. I am posting 4 photos. One of the Bambu Labs temperature chart, which I assume assures me I set the G-code correctly. Then three images of the printed tower from various angles.

That leaves me with three questions,

  1. Does it look like I set the G-code correctly
  2. What information can I take away from the tower print?
  3. Does anyone have a profile for Sunlu PLA plus they would like to share?

Thank you!

Is it me or does it look slightly better the hotter it got. What about 235-240?
