I have my printer relatively new and used it with the default settings.
I changed to the Dual-Sided Textured PEI Plate and all worked fine. Now I saw that the default temperature in Bambu Studio is 220C. On the website is written that the recommended temperature for the plate is until 200C.
How do you use this plate? Which temperature? Speed?
I think you mixed a few things up. The Dual-sided Textured PEI plate is not set to 220°C in BS - I assume you looked at the nozzle temperature. 220°C for e.g. PLA is needed otherwise you couldn’t achieve the high flow rate required for fast printing. For example, for PLA it is also most of the time a range of temp given (e.g. 190-220). If you buy PLA from the Bambu store, you can expect that it behave and feels as intended.
sorry, I meant the nozzle temperature.
If I use the Bambu PLA (with default settings 220C) and the Dual-Sided Temperature PEI Plate (on the web Surface temperature resistance: 200C) it wouldn’t damage the plate?
Can you send the link?
BTW, the only time the noozle is in direct contact with the bed is during bed leveling - and there only for a very short amount of time.
I have the PEI Plate myself and didn’t saw any problems.
