Temu is out of control selling copyrighted products and designs, many coming from MakerWorld.
I found one of my models on MakerWorld being sold by 3 different Temu sellers but there are so many more models coming from different MakerWorld designers.
The ‘REPORT ITEM’ link found on the offending page allows a user to request a take-down. I filled in all the required details including some screenshots of my original item and a link to MakerWorld. One of the listings was taken down within 24 hours, still waiting on the others.
Just a update… Temu has removed the first listing I reported.

I just reported 2 more of the same item I found from different sellers. I used the report item button on the listings and filled out my information so looks like they are getting onto it.
You cannot sell on any platform for the price the Chinese do, they sell for half the price you should take and that they have the shipping included. How?
I have seen my items being sold over a 1000 times and i got nothing, do not underestimate this and keep fighting the leeching of our designs.
It is very easy to steal designs anonymous on Makerworld and on top of it Makerworld changed the rules points (they sold it as an upgrade) so the urge to put new designs up on Makerworld is gone.
So please keep using Google lens and tools like that to find a thief and bring them down.
They will be sold anywhere the pirate thinks they can get away with, amazon should have a fairly robust DMCA process assuming you own the full rights to the model, as in that you’re not using someone elses IP in the model like a logo or character etc
As soon as I clear out most of these rogue listings i am going to take down the “problem” models that get stolen most and put them behind a paywall so I have more control over them.
Although most of my models are too complex to print quick and easy and not worth stealing for a quick buck, some models keep popping up every time in different places. Mostly on Chinese, eastern European sites and Ukrainian sites (yes, beside the war they have still time to steal our stuff and sell it everywhere)
Too bad it has to go this way, but with the “new upgraded points” system and the people that think they can just take everything, i will think twice before putting anything up on Makerworld.
My guess is that many more creators who make good stuff will not put their models on Makerworld leaving them in the end with a load of bad models.
I hope @makerworld read this, although I have no idea how they can fix this mess.
@Spiro44 you for got to add: for personal use. The digital file license is there for a reason. The Chinese sellers are also in competition with each other leaving no margin what makes it al even more stupid.

So we all have to deselect the models to be visible on the china site because they are not protected? @Spiro44 Is that what you’re saying? Can you confirm the standard digital file license is not on the china site? Can you post a screenshot where we can see this? As far as i can see it is on there. I looked and the standard digital file license is right there.
@Makerworld, how can you protect our models from piracy?
@Spiro44 Big market does not apply because they are all sold in the West. It would be different if it was only sold in China. (but it is not)
I’ve seen one of my designs in the gallery on the Bambu app… a design that I came up back in 2012/2013 when I started printing. Now it’s here in 2025. Copycats are everywhere.
