Temu.com selling 3D models from MakerWorld

Temu is out of control selling copyrighted products and designs, many coming from MakerWorld.

I found one of my models on MakerWorld being sold by 3 different Temu sellers but there are so many more models coming from different MakerWorld designers.

The ‘REPORT ITEM’ link found on the offending page allows a user to request a take-down. I filled in all the required details including some screenshots of my original item and a link to MakerWorld. One of the listings was taken down within 24 hours, still waiting on the others.

Both links go to Temu.
Plus, it’s China. They don’t care about trademarks or copywrite stuff.

Well, “your” model is a remix so… not yours to start

But Temu, Aliexpress and even other stores outside of china, like Amazon, are doing it, sadly.

Yes, mine is a remix, keeping in line with the Authors licence. So I’m looking after not only my remix but also the authors original scad code.

Temu is just out of control. No respect at all.

A quick search on Temu found numerous models I recognised. I have alerted the owners.

Were you expecting there to be any? its just wish with a facelift, standard dropship level garbage

Just a update… Temu has removed the first listing I reported.

‘’ ITEM DISCONTINUED ‘’

I just reported 2 more of the same item I found from different sellers. I used the report item button on the listings and filled out my information so looks like they are getting onto it.
