Tentech Gcode Post-processing scripts

There’s a channel on YouTube called “Tentech” of which I am totally not affiliated with, but I’ve seen a few pretty interesting gcode post processing scripts over there as of late. There’s one called “Smoothificator” that allows you to adjust your gcode so that the outer walls of your prints are at a lower layer height than the inner geometry so that it looks a bit nicer without increasing print times. There’s another called “bricklayers” that is supposed to improve the strength of your prints, and there’s one for adding fuzzy skin on top surfaces from what I understand (I haven’t tried that one yet).

Anyhow, the reason I bring it up besides the fact that I think it’s a collection of pretty neat ideas is that most of these scripts are for Prusaslicer or Orca Slicer and they don’t support Bambu Studio. Well, I went to the trouble of adjusting the code for the smoothification script so that it WILL work with Bambu Studio. It’s been awhile since I’ve done any coding to speak of, and I don’t really know Python, but I think I’ve got it working correctly regardless, so I thought other people might want to check it out.

I was originally going to post this on to the main Makerworld site but the administration there said I couldn’t post it since it wasn’t a model and I should post to the forums instead, so that’s what I’m doing. A bit of a shame since I think more people would see it on the main site, but anyhow…

I also haven’t used these forums much, so my apologies if this is posted wrong in some way.

Here’s a link to the modified script on my google drive

You may be confused. Orca Slicer is Bambu Studio source code with extensions.

Why would you think I’m confused? I know it’s a fork… which means they aren’t the same thing, and the scripts that are designed for Orcaslicer don’t work. My assumption is that Orcaslicer is based on an older build of Bambu Studio as the gcode is more similar to how Prusaslicer does things (which Bambu Studio was originally based on).
