Text insertion problem A1

Hoping you can see the picture.
I made this decoration in Fusion 360 and purposely left the name area blank so I could do the in Bambu.
no matter how I try I with the text in Bambu it will not put the text correctly once I go to PREVIEW.
The one shown was all done in Fusion and the text on both sides show great, prints great. I just cannot get Bambu to do the text. This would have saved me loads of time,

Welcome to the forum.

Can you upload your .3mf file as this will make it much easier to explain and solve this problem.

This is as it is without text. I want the name readable and flat both sides.

Not sure what you are trying to show me here. I have no problem using the text, but it wont work on this job.

Do you have a screenshot of how you have set it up ?

Your problem stems from issues with your model. Your model isn’t flat, it has a bunch of different surfaces and levels to it. The name is still visible in the top surface of the model which is messing up the Studio text utility. There is also a bunch of bridging on the bottom side.

To fix it I sliced the top and bottom of the model off and then scaled the model to original height (2.5mm). Essentially it’s the same model but with the top and bottom surface the same height.

I then added the text to each side and then used the move command to make them flush.

im going to assume means that it can be seen ,painting in a colour and +/- depth might help ,

Thought this my be th problem. Did you not find when you made them flush that the 2 bands disappeared. I wish to keep them but but not sure how to produce them in Bambu.
Funny that if I make the whole thing in Fusion it will print it no problem.

That is a lesson that I learned early on. With things like text and coloring, it is much easier done in Fusion and with a higher level of control and quality than in Bambu Studio.

Yeah begging to realise that myself.
