Text on top surface of object not printing

I cannot get text added to the top surface of an object to print. The object prints just fine, but completely without the text. The print stops at layer 14 while the text appears to be in layers higher than 14.

I’ve added raised text to the top of an object using Bambu Studio. I can clearly see the text in “Prepare” mode. After slicing, the text becomes transparent, but it’s still there if I look at the object from the side. However, the slicer seems to ignore it entirely. I have the text in a different color, but the slicer shows only one filament change (i.e., only one color).

If I embed the text into the object, it shows up in layers 9-14 (but still not in a different color).

Any help fixing this is appreciated! Thank you.

Can you use thicker text (like Arial Bold)? You may then have a chance to get it to print when using the “Arachne” wall generator.

Arcane wall generator may fix this, classic can emit small details that arcane will keep.

Thank you. That certainly did work, but I had to make the text bigger. The solution below (switching to the Arachne wall generator) allowed me to keep the text small.

Thank you! This was exactly what I needed. After switching to the Arachne wall generator, the text appears just fine.
