Textured PEI 1st layer marks

Hi Bambu community,

I recently get the new PEI textured from Bambu and I struggle to get consistency in terms of quality.

The first layer has some marks (lighter than the base color) that are not appealing for esthetic purpose. The tricky part is that is not the case each time. I have the feeling that it comes from stress release during cooling

Is anyone get the same issue ? Do you know where it might come from ?

Print setting

  • ASA Polylite
  • Generic ASA setting with 110 C bed temp.

I found the solution.

The white marks are due to stress in the plastic during release.

Solution : heat the surface slightly with a heat gun (or lighter). Carreful to not overdue it.
