The 3mf is not generated by Bambu Studio

Save As… worked for me. Thanks!

I have been getting same thing past day or so on files downloaded from Printables. It’s like my X1C and P1S are celebrating Festivus. They are airing all the grievances about the problems they have with the gcode.

where did you find the save as option when publishing?

I Had the same problem. I saved the project with save as.
Uploaded again the project then in the next plage i replace the project with the same file. And it worked for me.

I tried to upload a model and it was a 3mf but it said “The 3mf file is not generated by Bambu studio or the printer selected in the 3mf is not a Bambu lad printer”
I use Shapr3D and I exported it as a 3mf but it did not work

Welcome to the forum.

Were you trying to upload the 3mf to MakerWorld from Shapr3D? That isn’t going to work. You need to import the model from Shapr3D to Bambu Studio and generate the 3mf from there.

i export my modle as a 3mf from shaper3D than i take that file and put it in makerworld

it always makes the 3mf a g code

As I previously explained that isn’t going to work. You can export from Shapr3D as a STEP or STL and upload to Makerworld but 3mf files need to be generated by Bambu Studio as it adds in all the additional data that is required.

I am so sorry for this confusion but could you explain how to “generated by Bambu Studio as it adds in all the additional data that is required.”. I am only 13 and I don’t get a lot of this I have been in the hobby for at least 3 years but Bambu labs doesn’t have that a lot of YouTube videos to help me

Here is a good video of how to “upload” to Makerworld.

This build assumes that you know how to use and save a file in Bambu Studio.

Here is a great video of the basic overview and usage of Bambu Studio.
