The Aux fan came back, the very next layer

…the Aux fan came back, it just wouldn’t stay away!

For one of my prints I noticed the side facing the giant blower is lifting. So I tried again, but I thought I can just turn off the Aux fan after starting the print, and see if it is better.

Much to my surprise, on the next layer, it turned itself back on!

How do you make it stay off for an entire print?

Has to be done in the slicer before sending the gcode to the printer. I found this out the hard way myself. You have to go into the settings for the filament(s) you’re using and edit the options for the cooling fans to turn them off before slicing the model.

HOW DO I TURN OFF The AUX FAN when not printing ?

Welcome to the forum.

First - there is no need to use capital letters. It is considered rude in forum etiquette. Also please don’t spam the forum with the same question.

Second - which printer do you have? A P or an X series? The display can be used to turn the AUX fan off on both printers but the menu system is different. Both the Handy app and Bambu Studio can also be used to turn it off if they are connected. Lots of options.

set it to 0% in the filament profile

I recognize the frustration above and think D11 has a point. The Aux fan causes problems when using PLA for sure. I just had this happen. I am new to the X1 and not being able to keep the fan off unless it is needed and also being able to keep the x1 as a default is very frustrating.
