Hi, thank you, much appreciated!
Hello,
Following my order for an A1 printer that was canceled and then refunded, I received a €30 reduction voucher (valid for 1 year) then another €56 voucher valid only for 3 months until 2024/05/07
Will the new A1 printers be available before 2024/05/07, or will the voucher redemption date be extended for the purchase of an A1 ?
Thank you.
I answer to myself:
I opened this ticket this morning at 8:50.
Response from Bambu Lab at 12:36 p.m.! less than 4 hours on a Sunday!
So YES, the voucher deadline may be extended when the A1 is available again.
Just got this on my ticket in response to my inquiry.
So now it looks like it’s going to be delayed?
Thanks for the update as I haven’t received a single notice. I wonder when the Consumer product Safety Commission got involved?
Well, it’s getting better and better. Still no heated bed and now it sounds like there will be even more delays. I’m regretting more and more having bought this junk printer.
What’s really interesting is, CPSC has no record of a recall for the printers:
So, I wonder what the real reason for the delay is. Had they filed the recall with CPSC, which would have made them beholden to CPSC review, there would be a record on CPSC’s website.
May be try different seach names for bambu.

Bambu would return Bambu Lab and Bambulab. I also searched for A1, heat bed, and heatbed.
May be the recall was never filed with CPSC by bambulab and someone just reported the issue. It shouldn’t be long before it appears.
seems like the A1 is back on the market as of today (4/29/24)
Also when people lay it on it’s back like they are not supposed to it will stop the strain relief from breaking which is why they had to be recalled in the first place.
You realise that BL initially suspected that as the cause and then announced that they had not provided strain relief into the cable and it wasn’t suitable for the amount of movement it had to endure when the bed moved back and forth.
That was the reason for the recall.
i got the a1 mini working fine for over 2 months now, and last week finally the a1 was available. ordered within 15 minutes of receiving the mail… so happy…
and now, i just setup my new a1 and the screen says: theres is a call back action on this device… Bambu?! whats going on?!
I assume you meant a recall notice?
Try a firmware upgrade.
Unless new units have a version different from those affected by the recall - you may still see the warning.
i got the recall notice after the firmware update…
also, i got no plastic on my heating bed and all kind of smudges and stains…
You should try and reach out to them.
It is possible the packaging process changed due to retro-fitting unsold inventory.
Same happened to me…
Ordered a brand new A1, received my parcel today.
Originally packed, but no protective cover on heatbed, stains, fingerprints and one big scratch on the heatbed. Additionally oily fingerprints on whole printer base.
This looks a bit like a refurbished device.
What did you do ?
Best wishes!
since i’ve received the new heated unit i can tell you that, that is a silicone bumper made so that people don’t put it to close to the wall.
i filled in the contact form.
got word back to do a firmware update en disregard the notification.
nothing about it being refurbished or what so ever…
