The Bambu Lab Store 2nd Anniversary

I just wanted to buy a new AMS. In the end, 8 filaments were magically added to my purchase

Slip happens.

You will get four reusable spools with the AMS, something to remember when you order filaments.

@BambuLab will the UK see any basic PLA white, grey and white stock before the sale ends?, Only been able to buy a couple of rolls of black since the start of the sale.

I was in a similar situation and I am also in the U.K.

I couldnā€™t get Yellow for some time, but, a restock had it back.

While they refused to respond to my near identical question, constant checking let me order the yellow.

You still have 9 days to go.

Been checking in everyday buddy, Also have the notify me enabled

I ordered the Basic PLA White 3 times, each time on a spindle.

Some of the others I was forced to get without the spool.

I have ordered 35 in three orders since the sale began, most are PLA Basic, and the others are PLA Matte. I have all the primary colours, plus multiple in black and white.

It took some constant checking, but, I managed it. Yellow was the biggest problem.

Today I had back to back to back ā€œback in stockā€ notifications that sold out when I tried to check out - repeated after a few minutes and again - really weird. Tried to buy more reusable spools actually - theyā€™re only $4.99, and I dry all my filament so itā€™s easier to use theirs than print my own since Iā€™ve been buying mostly refills. Then I tried to buy the high temp spools and they sold out by the time I checked out again. cries

Care to elaborate why we canā€™t we just order items if they are out of stock?
Bambu can easily split shipping if cost is over free shipping rate or wait shipment unit in stock.

You mean the same as all other companies do?

Yes, this is a basic requirement that BL is failing to provide.

Hereā€™s a question, and maybe Iā€™m being silly. Why can I order 200lbs of filament and shipping is free but if I throw in an AMS itā€™s $18? When the sale first started I put $600 worth of items in my cart and saw the shipping was $18. I actually emailed sales support just for the heck of it and asked if they would waive the $18 in honor of their second anniversary if I spent over $600 lolā€¦ a week later they wrote back, ā€œNo, shipping for AMS is $18ā€. Of course I was bluffing and bought it all anyway, I guess they knew that was how that was going to play out

Will I be able to receive a filament color swatch later on if its oos through the buy 4 rolls promo?

I am so frustrated with this stock situation. When I initially bought my printer, the filament I wanted was out of stock. Later came in stock, didnā€™t get the discount because I had to order it separately. Now I figured I would get a couple extra spools and had them in my cart, and now theyā€™re out of stock before I can finish my order w/ 15 hours left on the sale.

You guys need to figure out your stock situation because itā€™s leaving a bad taste. If something is out of stock, I get it. But let someone back order it at the discounted rate so they donā€™t get screwed later.

Like this guy:

Back in stock by June 29? 5 days in the past? What the heck is going on here.

At least you may have hope that it might be restocked tomorrow for the last day.

The U.K. was told within a couple of days that we wouldnā€™t get any more until more than a month after the sale!

Of either one of the spools!

Just under 15 hours left to go.

The regular spool I donā€™t need as much as I can always get more w/ a filament order. The High Temp ones I was planning on using in a respooler and a dehydrator. That one was in stock and just dropped out of my cart as I was about to order. Iā€™ll keep checking. Still frustrating.

I must have not seen when this sale was ending, while researching a Bambu X1 Carbon with AMS. When will it go back on sale direct through Bambu, vs resellers who still have the 1299.99 price?

The start and end dates were prominently shown on every website and store page for exactly one month.

There was a countdown on the last day, that would only be relevant though if you were on the site yesterday.

Last year there was a Black Friday sale, they will likely do that again.

As I mentioned initially, I must have missed that, so to me they were not as ā€œprominently shownā€ as you say they were.

Their 1299.99 ā€œsaleā€ on the X1 404ā€™s now so as to not even redirect to the actual product when you find a search link via google on their own website too.

Time to buy even more filaments lets goooo

Anyone order AMS units during the sale and heard anything about them shipping? I bought 2 like 3 weeks ago. My order said ship before July 5. Iā€™ve not heard anything and notice the new ship days have moved a few times and now are saying August. Iā€™m hoping the new dates does not apply to my order which should have gone out by yesterday.

I purchased the P1S with AMS during the Bambu Anniversary sale. I also took the time to order a few extra (smooth) build plates & hotends. When I got the extras, I found that I had mistakenly purchased the 0.2 mm hotends rather than the 0.4 mm hotends I wanted. I contacted Bambu & they said to send them back for a refund. I asked if I could simply swap them for the larger hotends & they said no, I had to place another order. No problem, right? Wrong! Even though the sale was still on for another week+, the price of the hotends reverted back to their full list price. I asked Bambu to give me the sale price since the sale was supposedly still on, and got nowhere.

I realize that I made the mistake but this still left quite a sour taste in my mouth about Bambu Labs as a company. I love my new P1S with AMS (& am actually considering selling my Prusa machine). But based on the communications I received from Bambu Labs - seems like English is a challenge for them - I suspect that support will be sketchy in the future. But the main complaint is that all of this happened in the middle of their Anniversary Sale. A week+ before the sale ends, the price reverts back to the non-sale price? And they couldnā€™t accommodate me? Not the way to win over a new customer.
